The relationship between professional ethics and organizational commitment and job satisfaction of managers in Iranshahr city

Abstract

Undoubtedly, the movement towards achieving organizational goals and achieving those goals and ultimately the progress of society depends on the increase of professional ethics in organizations. Having professional ethics is considered as a competitive advantage and one of the most important success variables in any organization. The purpose of this research is to investigate the professional ethics of managers with organizational commitment and job satisfaction of managers in Iranshahr city. The method of conducting this descriptive research was correlation type and the statistical population of the research was all managers of three levels of education in Iranshahr city (N = 87 people), 70 people were randomly selected based on Morgan's table. In this research, three questionnaires of professional ethics scale of Gregory, CPetti (1990), organizational commitment questionnaire of Meier and Allen (1991) and job satisfaction questionnaire of Kendall and Smith (1969) were used. In order to analyze the data according to the research questions, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics of Pearson's correlation coefficient test were used. The research findings showed that there was a significant relationship between professional ethics and organizational commitment and managers' job satisfaction.
