Guide to registration in the Journal of Professional Ethics in Education

 

Follow the process below to register in the journal of professional ethics in education:

  1. Select the system registration option from the system login page;
  2. Complete the requested information such as name, surname, etc. (all fields with stars);
  3. Store information;
  4. Login to the system with the username and password sent to the author's email.

 

Guide to writing research articles in educational systems

The scientific quarterly of professional ethics in education publishes original research articles (Original Research Articles) in the diverse field of formal and informal education. These types of articles are written based on a regular and organized scientific research plan and in a quantitative, qualitative or mixed method.

Moreover, the authentic review articles or original translations are also acceptable based on the magazine editor's opinion.

 

Guide to writing research articles in educational systems

 

The scientific quarterly of professional ethics in education publishes original research articles (Original Research Articles) in the diverse field of formal and informal education. These types of articles are written based on a regular and scientifically organized research plan and in a quantitative, qualitative or mixed method.

 

 General principles:

 

1.The official language of the magazine is Farsi, and articles from abroad are also accepted in English.

  1. The article has not to be previously published in any domestic publication or sent to another journal at the same time.
  2. The scientific rank of the authors should be entered correctly and all the authors of the article should be aware of its submission and publication, and this should be confirmed in the letter of commitment of the author responsible for the correspondence.
  3. The article should be reviewed in one of the search engines (Samim Noor, Irandoc, etc.) and its report should be sent along with the article.
  4. The submitted files include 5 folders (files) of articles with and without the names of the authors, the commitment letter of the authors, the conflict of interest form and the plagiarism check report. If the mentioned files are not received, the article will be returned.
  5. Diagrams, pictures and tables should be clear.
  6. The number and title of the tables should be given above them, and the number and title of the diagrams and figures should be given below them.
  7. The description of each table is given below it.
  8. Half spaces should be observed in the sent text.
  9. The distance between the lines should be 1 cm in A4 size paper with a margin of 5.3 cm from the top and bottom and 4.5 cm from the right and left.
  10. Persian text should be typed with B Lotus font and size 13 thin, and English text should be typed with Times New Roman font and size 12.
  11. The author of the article is responsible for the content of the content.
  12. No more than 3 years should have passed from the time of writing the article up to time of sending it to the magazine.
  13. The journal is free to reject, accept, modify and edit articles, and submitted articles will not be returned.
  14. The received articles are judged by two or three reviewers, and the final decision about the publication of the articles is made by the editorial board of the magazine after the evaluation of the reviewers.
  15. The report of Irandoc plagiarism check is accepted with a maximum of 30% similarity.

 

How to set up different sections of an article

 

Title

  1. The title of the short article (minimum 5 and maximum 15 words) should be descriptive and express the content, purpose and findings of the research. The title should be typed with Lotus 16 font and bold letters.
  2. The names of the authors should be typed under the title of the article with bold B Lotus font and size 11. The responsible author should be identified in the footnote and the organizational affiliation of all authors should be mentioned in the footnote. The academic email address and contact number of the responsible author should be given in the footnote. The supervisor must be listed as the responsible author.
  3. The title of the article should also be written in English, and under the English title, the names and surnames of the authors should be written in English, and then the scientific degree should be mentioned as BSc, MSc, MD, Ph.D.

 

Abstract

 

The abstract of the article (Persian and English) should be set on separate pages, at least 150 and at most 250 words and in one paragraph without a title (purpose, method, etc.). In the abstract, the following parts are to be given:

 

  • The purpose should be stated clearly and unambiguously.

 

  • The method includes general information about the type of study, population, sample and sampling method, data collection tool and data analysis method.

 

  • Findings in quantitative studies should be mentioned in accordance with the purpose and along with statistical results. In qualitative studies, classes, themes or concepts or the theoretical explanation of the findings in relation to the studied phenomenon should be clearly stated.

 

  • The conclusion should not be a repetition of the findings of the research and it should state the final summary of the findings along with the recommendations, the applications of the findings or the results.

 

Keywords

A maximum of 6 and a minimum of 3 main words should be given. Only words that are mentioned in the title or abstract can be included as keywords. Keywords should be written in alphabetical order.

The main text of the article

 The main text of the article includes: introduction, method, findings, discussion and conclusion and sources. Be careful that the main text of the article should include 4400 to 4600 words.

 

The introduction should be concise, clear, purposeful and well written. Authors should pay attention to the type, sequence and logical order of the information provided in the introduction. These principles do not differ in quantitative, qualitative, and hybrid studies, and their order includes: explaining the field of research in general; more specific explanations about the aspect or dimension of the problem that is of particular interest to this study (theoretical foundations); A review of the findings of other studies that are related to the problem and the subject of the research (experimental background) and the explanation of the existing gap or gap about the research problem in line with the necessity of conducting the present study. The general purpose or question of the research is stated at the end of the introduction.

 

Important note: avoid subheadings in the introduction and write the introduction in a unified manner.

 

Throughout the article, provide subtitles for specialized terms and Latin names that you use for the first time. subtitles should be based on APA (Dortaj, F).

Method

One of the important parts of the article is the information expressed in the study method. In general, the method includes clear information about the research process, the society, the sample and the sampling method, the entry and exit criteria of the participants (if necessary), estimating sample sizes, intervention steps (if necessary), ethical considerations, how to manage data, data analysis methods and computer software, data collection tools (separately with psychometric features, Scoring method and...)

Important note: Subheadings are not given under the general title of the method.

 

Findings

Findings are the achievements of the study, which in quantitative studies include the distribution of demographic characteristics of the sample group, descriptive and analytical findings of the studied variables. The findings of qualitative research are also explained in the form of classes, concepts or main themes with their subsets along with direct quotes from participants or primary data.

The number of tables in an article should not exceed 5 tables. Tables should be adjusted according to APA format and size 10.

 

Discussion and conclusion

It should contain a summary and conclusion of the findings in line with how to answer the goals or questions of the research. In this conclusion, the applications of the findings, the limitations of the study and the generalizability of the findings should also be considered. Suggestions for conducting further studies and applying the findings should also be presented in this section.

The sources of the article should be set in the APA method in the End note format. It should be noted that the Latin format of Persian sources should also be included.

Tip1: If it is extracted from an article thesis, it is necessary to use the article instead of the thesis.

TIP 2: The minimum number of references in an article is 25 and the maximum is 40.

TIP 3: In the submitted article, at least three articles from the previous issues of this quarterly should be cited.

 Note 1: Before submitting your article, read the article writing guide carefully. Articles that are not written according to the framework of the journal will not be considered.

Note 2: The authors' commitment worksheet must be downloaded, completed and signed by the authors of the article, then scanned and its scanned file sent to the journal in PDF or JPG format along with the article file.

Note 3: The conflict of interest form must be downloaded, completed and sent to the journal with the signature of the responsible author.
